Bonanzle As A Marketing Venue

I checked out the new site Bonanzle last week doing preparation for my interview on ebay & Beyond: Basics to Business on Saturday with Mark Dorsey chief “Raconteur” of the site. Though I didn’t sign up as a user, I looked around the site for about an hour.

The site launched in June of this year and as of this morning it boasts 4382 users. While not a large number it seems the site is growing fairly rapidly and the forums seem friendly and helpful. While not an auction site, there are some very unique marketing opportunities on the site and it certainly seems the staff are working day and night to make improvements.

I did sign up for an account this morning, and posted an item for sale. It was very easy, and fast even though it was my first time using their selling format. Users can use their own html to place templates in their sales, and the site lets sellers determine how they will get paid. (Hey what a concept!)

It will be interesting to see how things progress, but remember sellers don’t pay for listing items unless they sell!

Give it a try! You never know, it might just work!
